Terms of service
The practical rules for using the browser studio and keeping your work safe.
Scope and availability
These terms cover PhotoCraft.pics and its browser editor. This independently hosted website uses the open-source PhotoCraft v0.7.0 engine; it is not the official upstream website or an Adobe or ArtCraft service. The local editor is currently free and requires no account. Production registration, sign-in, cloud storage and paid checkout are not available.
Your work and permissions
You retain your rights in the images and work you edit. Opening a local document does not transfer ownership to us. You must have permission to use imported images, fonts, logos and other material, and respect the rights and privacy of others. The engine’s open-source license does not grant rights to third-party content or trademarks.
Saving and compatibility
The engine is early alpha. Keep originals, save often, and reopen important exports to check their contents. Files are saved through browser downloads; there is no cloud backup, autosave recovery or guarantee that an unsaved session survives tab closure, refresh or browser failure. Use .pcraft for editable native projects and check PSD/PSB exports carefully: complex Photoshop features and smart-filter settings may not round-trip completely.
Appropriate use
Use the editor lawfully and follow our Acceptable use policy. Do not compromise the service, bypass access controls or use edited images for harmful deception or rights infringement. You are responsible for how you use and distribute your output. Successful export does not certify accuracy, licensing or suitability for a particular purpose.
Limitations and changes
Features, compatibility and availability may change, and network access is needed to load the website and engine. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, exact Photoshop compatibility or professional suitability. These statements do not exclude rights or responsibilities that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
Prices and future purchases
Paid services are currently closed; we do not currently sell subscriptions or editing credits. Future checkout must show price, currency, billing frequency, included benefits and applicable cancellation/refund terms before purchase. Planned features are not a promise of delivered functionality. Payment confirmation must be verified by the payment service.
Open-source licenses
The included PhotoCraft v0.7.0 engine is licensed under MIT OR Apache-2.0; license texts are linked below. Those licenses govern the engine code; these terms describe use of this hosted service. PhotoCraft.pics is independently operated and is not affiliated with Adobe, ArtCraft or similarly named app-store products.
