A FEW STUDIO NOTES

Open up.
Get into your flow.

No installation. A familiar editing workflow. For precise work, use a desktop or a tablet in landscape.

Open an image. Or start fresh.

Choose File → Open to select a local image or layered document. Use New project above for a native .pcraft document, then open your photo, select all, Copy Merged, switch back and Paste. The browser asks you to choose files; image processing happens on your device.

Get back to a familiar flow.

Find brushes, selections, type and paths in the left toolbar. Image, Layer, Select, Filter and View live in the top menus. Layers, History and Properties sit on the right. Click the canvas to use editor shortcuts.

Build in layers. Keep your options.

Use masks to limit an effect, and adjustment layers to preserve original pixels. Choose Noto Sans CJK SC for Chinese type. Keep smart filters in native .pcraft projects; some filter parameters are lost in PSD. Inspect automatic selections and refine hair and holes manually. Read compatibility warnings on complex PSD or Affinity imports, and keep your originals.

Save your project. Export your finish.

Native projects started with New project save as .pcraft; reopen with Open above. Directly opened photos default to PSD; the browser Save As has no format picker. File → Export → Export As creates an image; use PNG for transparency. Confirm the download exists. Save before closing, refreshing or changing renderers; the browser has no automatic recovery.

Before opening complex files, check supported tools, file formats and compatibility notes, and keep your original file.
If the canvas fails to load, try WebGL2 or CPU from the studio help menu. Switching reloads the editor; save your work first.
